To ensure clear expectations and transparent service delivery, certain activities, technologies and responsibilities are not included within our standard Managed IT Services agreement. Custom requirements can always be discussed separately.

Services Not Included in the Standard MSP Agreement

The following activities fall outside the standard Managed Service Provider scope and may require separate resources, on-site support, vendor engagement or an additional service agreement.

SaaS Inventory Management

Maintaining or managing a complete Software-as-a-Service inventory is not included within the standard service scope.

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Clear Boundaries for Security and Compliance Responsibilities

Standard MSP services do not include the implementation or enforcement of organizational security policies, regulatory compliance programs, formal security assessments or legal responsibility for cybersecurity incidents.

Security Policy Implementation

Creation, implementation and enforcement of internal security policies remain outside the standard MSP scope.

Legal and Compliance Liability

Responsibility for legal disputes, penalties, litigation and compliance issues remains with the client.

Security Training and Assessments

Security awareness training, formal risk assessments and regular compliance reviews require a separate engagement.

Advanced Microsoft 365 Security

DLP, threat protection, security auditing and advanced monitoring are excluded unless specifically contracted.

Additional security and compliance services can be provided through a separate scope of work and professional service agreement.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities Managed Directly by the Client

The following activities, purchases and operational responsibilities remain with the client unless they are specifically included under a separate written agreement or approved Statement of Work.

PROCUREMENT

Hardware, Software and License Procurement

The client is responsible for purchasing all required hardware, software, applications, subscriptions and licenses unless procurement support is specifically included in the service agreement.

Physical Backup Media

The client must store, secure, label and manage physical backup media such as external drives, tapes and removable devices.
